This front yard used to be covered with an unused ailing lawn and a dated slate porch.
The client was interested in not only a water wise plant palette but taking advantage of LA's Turf Rebate Program. We swapped the lawn for a landscape designed to keep all rainwater on site for percolation back into the ground! Three front yard downspouts now connect to a dry creek bed, with subsurface gravel to prevent water runoff.
The new concrete porch has a more contemporary look with more usable space and added lighting.
